What is the easiest way to get to Bar Harbor? The largest airport and most accessible airport in Maine is PWM located in Portland. Few flights go directly to Bar Harbor Airport (BHB) and if you prefer to drive up the breath-taking Maine coast like most guests, we recommend starting in South Portland, exploring the coast, visiting the Samoset golf resort hotel in Rockport/Camden and then stopping in Bar Harbor.
